Like many of you, with the end of 2012 I can’t help but cast one last, lingering backwards glance at the work I’ve done and the progress I’ve made over the last 12 months. In life, there always seems to be a lot of balls (so to speak) in the air. You either get good at juggling them or they will eventually come crashing down on your head.
Thankfully, the numbers can attest to the fact that 2012 more than just felt like a busy year. It actually was a busy year! Working on roughly 6 designs a month, many of them concurrently, from start through launch (and supporting those designs through their “natural” lifespan within the service) is a task that requires time management skills … in spades.
In 2012, I produced and provided technical consultation on a total of 73 designs, many of which went on to be best selling designs for the year. I worked on creating wow-inspiring animations and robust, user customizable interactive design experiences featuring art from Coosa Creative, Amber Clegg, Designer Digitals, amazing in-house studio designers like Susan Andrade, and more.
No one knows what the future holds, but here’s hoping to your continued success in 2013! Happy New Year!
